About the speakers

Ms Tuuli Koivu is the Chief Economist at Nordea with a strong background in global economics. She has significant experience analyzing China's economy, having worked as a China economist at the European Central Bank (ECB) and the Bank of Finland from 2003 to 2010. She also completed a Ph.D. on China's monetary policy.


At Nordea, she focuses on the China, Euro area and ECB policy and has more recently studied banking regulation and its effects on the real economy. Her expertise spans both advanced and emerging economies, with a passion for understanding the complex connections between monetary policy, finance, and economic growth.


The event will be moderated by Ms Xin Song, a Columnist for Financial Times Chinese, an expert in global market entry strategies, and the Founder of Sinnvoll Consulting (Beijing) and Sinnvoll Global Strategy GmbH (Berlin), who previously served as EU-China Policy Advisor at the European Parliament.
