Urban Midsummer Under The Sky CANCELLED due to Covid-19

Midsummer - that magical time of the year - is just few days from now, and we celebrate it here in Beijing couple days in advance. Midsummer is the starting point for summer holidays for Finns. It's the celebration of nightless night.

We maybe cannot do traditional Finnish summer magics, but it is a true miracle that we can have this urban Midsummer party together this year. We will party under the sky at the rooftop terrace in the heart of Beijing. Our Midsummer guest of honor is Ambassador Leena-Kaisa Mikkola.



Awesome program:

Bring your colleagues and friends and come to chill and mingle with Finnish business society. You may learn a Finnish song or two, as we have famous Finnish duo Katja and Marko teaching us to sing along.

One of the traditions is absolutely making flower wreaths. Learn to make a flower wreath for yourself! We have a professional florist teaching you.

We have free flow of drinks (wines, beer, soft drinks - as long as there's something to drink) and finger food & snacks.

Warmly welcome all FinnCham members, Finnish community, and friends of Finland to celebrate together at the rooftop terrace of Digital 01 Building in Guo Mao on Friday June 17 at 6pm-.

Dress code: Summer. And naturally the best dress/outfit will be awarded.

Register latest on Wednesday June 15. Tickets 200/member, and 300/non-member. The venue limits participants to 50 people.
